Yeah, it was funny months ago. So amusing that he was forever immortalized in Guild Wars with a quest. I suppose people seeing it for the first time now would find it hilarious, but I believe there's an (ancient by now, heh heh) topic on this already.

Yeah see i dont get this leroy video like only that one part of the video is funny and what is even more annoying is i have seen at least 3 people in gw doing this and getting us all killed and i can say its not funny then especially on the facet of strength.

I know what you're saying - By all counts, I should be more aggravated than amused at the video, but I'm not... Here's why.

What makes the video so funny is the "serious" preparation the team makes beforehand. The team takes the game so seriously they're meticuloulsy crunching numbers and anguishing as if they're planning the invasion of Normandy. Then comes Leeroy ...

I lvoe the whole numbers crunch part. That and the moment of panic right as they realize Leeroy's gone in. During an FA farm run we were thru the bosses and decided to die/rezone to restart. I guess one Ele in our group didn't see the message because I charged at the Furnace Guardians screaming "LEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOY" and he almost crapped himself saying "omg u f'n bastard we're gonna die!". I explained I was kidding and that we were rezoning and all was well. :P

The other thing that makes it funny is the very end. The leader calls Leeroy "stupid as hell" and Leeroy doesn't even deny it - instead he responds, "At least I ain't chicken..."
